Core Ministries is pleased to announce they are the 2022 first quarter recipient of the donations of the 100+ People That Care of Barton County group. With the goal of assisting families in escaping the cycle of generational poverty, Core Ministries serves 14 counties in Kansas, including Barton, providing families with the resources and support needed to achieve economic stability. With the almost $11,000 in donations from the 100+ People That Care of Barton County Group, Core Ministries Community Poverty Project will be able to provide curriculum materials, staff, financial assistance for barriers impacting families, and graduation stipends for those completing the program and overcoming the components of poverty. Their holistic approach addresses the financial, emotional, and mental/spiritual challenges facing these families and works to provide resources and role models they can trust to equip, educate, and empower them as they move up and out of poverty successfully.
