ElderCare Inc. Receives Over $10,500 from Members of 100+ People Who Care
ElderCare, Inc. is pleased to announce that they were recently voted the 2021 third quarter recipient of approximately $10,000 in charitable donations from members of the 100+ People Who Care in Barton County group. The philanthropic group heard three presentations from local charities during their meeting on August 10th, and ElderCare, Inc. was voted the winner.
Established in 1994, ElderCare, Inc. was created with the mission of supporting and providing in-home services to older adults. These services can include care management plans, personal hygiene care, housekeeping and shopping assistance, medication and nutrition management, respite care, and wellness checks. All services are designed to help seniors safely maintain as much independence as possible, while providing the appropriate in-home assistance and companionship. ElderCare also administers the Friendship Meals program, delivering to homebound individuals and serving at community dining sites.
The quarterly pledges of the 100+ People Who Care Members will allow ElderCare to continue to provide these valuable services to seniors on a sliding fee scale. To learn more about ElderCare, Inc., please visit their website at www.eldercareks.org and follow them on Facebook.
